Tori Q has a variety of grilled items which **go** well with rice. Generally, I think it is good, and one way they can improve is to make the rice less wet.

Dear ToriQ, your cashier working on April 27th at 4:45 PM was just plain rude, with poor customer service. She probably needs more training before being put at the front desk.

Here's the edited review: Bought a total of 18 sticks and 4 rice. There were 10 sticks in a box, and I requested a little more sauce in the box. The cashier said you already had an extra pack of sauce and reluctantly added a bit more sauce into the box. I know they sell sauce by the bottle, but I don't think the sauce is so precious that they need to be so stingy with it.

Extremely slow queue despite a full range of skewers available. Staff need to be trained to be faster and more efficient. I’m a regular patron at the Ion and Bugis branches that always have long queues, but the staff there move very fast. The one at Bedok was very slow and took an average of 90 seconds to serve one customer, whereas the other branches took only around 30 seconds.

I loved the food. The sausage tastes just like what I had in Japan, and the meat isn't dry either. However, I disliked the front-of-house lady who took our order. I arrived at 5:16 PM on Monday, March 18th, 2024, and waited a bit for the server to be ready to take our order. She spoke so quickly that I couldn't understand her. I understand that there might be a tone/pronunciation barrier since I'm a foreigner (we both spoke English), but did she really have to raise her voice? Even the lady at the cashier looked back at us after hearing her. Have you undergone thorough customer service training? Since it's a Japanese chain, shouldn't she be polite while serving customers? Not as polite as the Japanese, but she also shouldn't be yelling at customers when they don't understand what she's saying. I'll be forwarding an email to the company after typing this.
