La Vida - Bedok Mall

This was my second trip here, and I had my henna eyebrows done. The service was good, and I highly recommend Faye, Moon, and Juliet. On my first visit, on August 18, 2024, Faye and Moon attended to me for a Henna Eyebrow and Eyelash Lift. My Henna Eyebrow lasted about 2+ weeks, and my eyelash lift is still good as of today. I also had a trial for Milia Seed removal, and it was painless with good results. Thank you, Lavida Team at Bedok Mall.

Effective facial, but aggressive hard selling and questionable service standards. I had gotten the eyebrow shaping package twice and decided to give their facial a shot sometime last year. I got a package because I was genuinely impressed by Moon's service. It was all okay until most of the outlet's staff changed. A lady (I'm guessing the manager, as she was pretty damn cocky, lol) walked in DURING my facial and made comments about how bad my skin was. She also always had an AirPod stuck in her ear when she was trying to talk me into changing my package to one for acne. Wendy was the beautician who did most of my facials, which also involved a lot of hard selling. Sometimes after the facial, I'd be trapped for 30 minutes listening to how amazing their products were or what a great deal they were offering me. Then, before I would even say anything, she'd ask how I would be making payment. I understand it's part of their job to make sales, but I think knowing when to back off is also quite important. My last two sessions were done by Faye, and I'm baffled by how different the experience was compared to when Wendy did them. Right from the beginning, cleansing was so much more thorough with Faye. I didn't have a face and shoulder massage previously, and skincare was very carelessly done at the end. Maybe facials aren't her area of expertise, since she seems to be getting good reviews for Bojin massage. At least the last sessions were decent, but for a chain salon, their service is quite disappointing.

I had an amazing experience at this lash lift studio, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, and I especially want to thank Faye for her exceptional service. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and I left with perfectly lifted lashes that looked natural and beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch service and results. I went for a Bojin massage trial today. The massage was good. They were not hard-selling at all. Though I didn't sign any package in the end, they didn't show me any 'black face' like some other beauty salons. Loved their service and professionalism! I want to thank my masseuse, Wendy, for her professionalism, and she's very polite and friendly too!

Had my first session of a lash lift and tint. Faye was flexible in accommodating my timing. She made sure there was no discomfort during the session; if there was, she would help clean around the eyes to reduce it. She adjusted based on her customers; as it was my first time doing a lash lift, she extended the time to let my lashes lift better. She tried to sell and push for a package, but it's understandable because it's their job.
