Went to this outlet to get their new item – beef and mushroom melts. Normally, I could choose my own vegetables, but the two staff members working there told me that I could only remove existing vegetables, not add any. Like, what? And the only vegetable I could choose was capsicum. How ridiculous is it that Subway doesn't allow customers to choose vegetables? And out of all the vegetables, you decide that capsicum is the one thing your target audience would want? How many food chains out there actually add capsicum to their sandwiches?? The cheese, too: your staff was so insistent that I either take 1 scoop of mozzarella and a portion of sliced cheese, or 1 scoop of mozzarella without the sliced cheese, when I just wanted mozzarella. And don't get me started with the sauce. I couldn't even choose the sauce I wanted; I could only pick ranch sauce. If you are not giving your customers the option to choose their vegetables and sauces, then add a disclaimer to your poster and don't mislead them into the restaurant, only for them to be faced with an unpleasant dining experience. I don't understand why your staff had to be so rigid about everything when the cost is about the same, and the options that you normally give to your customers are forfeited because YOU decide your NEW seasonal item to be so restrictive.

To whom it may concern, I am very pleased to inform you that your staff service is excellent at your Bedok Mall location in Singapore (Unit 01-96). The staff are super friendly, and I always feel very refreshed when I visit your outlet store. Compared to the worst outlet I encountered at Harbourfront (which I previously emailed about), their service needed to learn from the Bedok Mall team how to treat customers friendly and not show attitude. I am a regular and always support any purchases from your brand and bread. Please, Bedok Mall, continue to uphold this standard for your company. You deserve an award!

I have been a regular customer at the Subway Bedok outlet for years, but my patience with the morning shift staff has reached its limit. Their rude and unprofessional attitude is unacceptable. Every time I visit, they show impatience and frustration when repeating questions—yet the only reason they need to repeat is that they face away from customers while asking, making it difficult to hear them. The ordering process is a mess. Instead of taking orders step by step, they rush through questions before properly taking the bread selection. This has been going on for years with absolutely no improvement. It is clear that no corrective action has been taken despite ongoing poor service. Subway needs to seriously review the morning staff's behavior and training because this level of customer service is unacceptable. On the other hand, the night shift staff are always polite and professional, which proves that proper service is possible—so why is the morning team still like this? Enough is enough.

Here's the edited review: I used to eat Subway! I visited the Bedok Mall branch today. I ordered an Energy Salad Bowl. One of the workers seemed inexperienced, as if he didn't know what ingredients to put in. After it was packed, I came back home and ate it. Actually, some vegetables were missing, which was different from other times I'd ordered the same salad. The shop wasn't busy, yet this type of mistake was still made. I was quite disappointed and don't think I'll visit this branch again. The price was $10.50. It was a poor salad bowl for the price.
