My mum went to the clinic in Bedok, and the bill came up to $80+ after Blue CHAS and Merdeka subsidies! It was actually $100+ in total. That's ridiculous for seeing the doctor for just a common sore throat, flu, and cough. No antibiotics were given, and still it's so expensive! She was given paracetamol, and she has tons at home. The receptionist should have asked if she needed it, since it's such a common medication. All the medication she was given can be bought at any pharmacy. The medication provided included similar Flumicil, cough tablets, Chlormine tablets, Cetirizine tablets, Panadol, and lozenges, which cost $87.90 alone! I don't even pay this much when I don't have any subsidy. Isn't this kind of price only during odd hours in a 24-hour clinic?

I just had my clinic health screening at the Minmed clinic (Bedok) this morning. The experience was horrible. They didn't seem to know what I was there for until I showed them my appointment. They even forgot to ask for my urine sample. I only found out after I got home. So, what Minmed wrote on their website about a fuss-free, 45-minute walk-in was not true. It took me a while to get registered and complete my payment. After getting home, I realized no urine sample had been collected, and I even had to call another Minmed Clinic to inquire about it. So now I have to go down again to provide the sample? I paid $500 for the health screening. Totally not worth it. Please avoid Minmed clinic for health screening at all costs!
I had no choice but to choose a 1-star rating because there was no option to choose zero stars!
Oh, and please don't reply to this review saying you're sorry to hear about my experience, because you're not. Why? I did reach out to Minmed via [email protected] and also WhatsApp your number, but received no response! Disappointing!

Second bad experience with Minmed:
I reserved a Vaccination A at the Bedok outlet and was informed upon arrival that there was no stock. The staff indicated that I had not stated it in my booking, but my reservation details clearly stated that I was coming for Vaccination A. They also did not call to inform me in advance.
This had also happened with a flu jab. If you are planning and timing your vaccinations carefully to get necessary protection, it's better to approach other clinics instead, as they either cancel last-minute or do not even inform you.

The two ladies at the counter were very helpful and kind. They helped me find and order another blood test quickly.
Dr. Mok is skilled at taking blood. I experienced almost no pain, and he was very reassuring.

My mistake was not checking the reviews before booking a flu vaccination appointment. I'm here to report that, one week since the last review I read, nothing has been done, though they said they would do something about it. I went down to the venue, and no doctor was around. I thought it would be easy to resolve this: just remove night bookings for flu vaccinations. A waste of my time and effort.
