I should have googled to read the reviews before patronizing this shop! I bought a Cartier perfume yesterday but later found out from the Cartier website that the product was actually cheaper. Dollars & Scent marked up the item by 100% and then gave a discount of 40%. Net price is still more expensive than buying directly from Cartier. I got scammed! Can we report this to the authorities? On top of that, the QR code on the box didn't work. Called the rude guy to clarify, and yes, I agree with the rest of the reviews here that he is extremely rude. I really doubt the authenticity of their products. Please beware!

I purchased this Polo perfume about two weeks ago from this shop at Bedok Mall. I only started using it recently and discovered that the smell was not authentic and didn't leave a lasting effect. Not even for 15 minutes! I returned to the shop to enquire about its authenticity, but the salesperson (an elderly guy) insisted that it was genuine. When I asked him to smell the scent after one press of the nozzle, he didn't comment, except to say that he would 'inform his supplier'. I even offered to return this bottle (which I had hardly used) and to top up for another brand, but he flatly refused, mentioning that I didn't even possess the box or that I hadn't actually purchased it from his shop. I reminded him that this was my second purchase and my first one was all good. So when I finished using that bottle, I decided to buy another bottle from his shop. Sadly, I was mistaken and didn't even do a smell test upon purchasing it. My advice to all is to save your DOLLARS and use your SENSE elsewhere instead. If you must buy, then do so at your own risk!

Very rude service. There was an old man at the stall at Jurong Point who was very rude when I asked whether their perfumes were authentic, as they were selling a perfume for $8 on sale and I doubted its authenticity, which prompted my question. He rudely replied with, "If your money is real, everything is real. If you don't trust, don't buy from me," and his whole attitude was so bad throughout. From other reviews, you can literally tell that the perfumes are not genuine. I wasn't even asking about the authenticity to frame them for selling fake items; I just wanted to know genuinely. This made my whole experience so unpleasant. I will never go back.

I was on the hunt for a good deal on a fragrance when I stumbled upon Dollars and Scent in Bedok, and let me tell you, it was the find of a lifetime! I’d been eyeing Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Elixir for a while but was hesitant to splurge at department store prices. Walking into this cozy little shop felt like entering a hidden gem for perfume enthusiasts.
The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, guiding me to various options that matched my taste. When I spotted Le Male Elixir on the shelf, I was surprised to see it reasonably priced compared to other stores. Without hesitation, I grabbed it, eager to try it out. The scent was nothing short of intoxicating. A warm blend of rich vanilla, spicy cardamom, and deep amber notes instantly hooked me.
The real highlight was its longevity. After a single spritz in the morning, I could still catch whiffs of the fragrance late into the evening. I went through my entire day—meetings, errands, even a quick run—and the scent never faded. It clung to my skin, evolving beautifully with each hour.
If you’re ever in Bedok and need a fragrance fix, Dollars and Scent is the place to go. They offer great deals, an impressive selection, and top-notch customer service. I couldn’t be happier with my Le Male Elixir purchase!

Very overpriced perfumes. You can get the same ones at Mustafa or Shopee for less than half the price. Most Middle Eastern clone perfumes do not cost 60 dollars or more. Afan 9pm is sold for about $39 to $45. It is priced at $98 here. Clearly trying to rip off many unsuspecting customers. It's best to do your research and shop around.
