I had pre-ordered cake and some pudding. Staff gave it to me in a cake box and a paper bag. I declined to purchase a plastic bag because the packaging it came in seemed sufficient and manageable, as I just needed to carry it to the car. When I took it from the counter, the paper bag gave way and the pudding was ruined. When I asked the staff to kindly replace the pudding, they said no, as it was my fault the pudding was ruined because I hadn’t bought a plastic bag.
When I met the manager, she asked me to write a review on the internet to complain. Um, here I am. With a bunch of ruined pudding, and my mind was blown.

So glad to see that Chateraise has opened a shop at Bedok Mall! Always enjoyed the cream puffs from here, and they’re only $1.90! The ice cream selection is so wide and very affordable — or even cheap — for the quality you get. The outlet seems small, but their core products are still offered. Cakes and tarts aplenty!

Great place to get Japanese cakes and ice cream. The ice cream is the real deal: cheap and good! It can be as cheap as under a dollar, which is difficult to find nowadays for good ice cream.
There are many sliced cakes and seasonal cakes available every month, and we really like the orange and strawberry cakes. These small cakes can be expensive, but they taste so good and are so worth it.
Also, the Uji matcha cream roll and fluffy cream roll were my family's all-time favorite! Do note the expiration date, as these cakes can't be kept long. Usually, they have to be eaten within 2-3 days.
