Your branch at Bedok Mall is the first ever bank teller I have experienced with a 'cannot-be-bothered' attitude. No smile, no greetings!
I was looking for Counter 3, but your signage looked quite misleading. Being the only customer standing there, she couldn't be bothered to reach out to me.
I sat at her counter for a good 1-2 minutes; she didn't acknowledge me, carrying on with her checks on paper as if I were invisible.
Then I gave her my NRIC; she did what she needed to and gave me instructions as if she were not interested in doing this any longer.
Not a single 'thank you,' so I felt I didn't need to be nice to such service staff either.
As if I am there to feel her attitude. Honestly, not fit to be in the service line.

Last Saturday, I had a great encounter with Alena (and Ms. Lim) who was patient and guided me through the process, even though the transaction took longer than expected. Kudos to Alena.

Terrible experience. Wanted to open an account with this bank. Their email system was down, and they asked me to print and submit documents. Decided not to open the account with them. The email system is very basic, and they still can't ensure it works properly. How can I trust their digital system will be up and running? The staff was also very unfriendly, not even delivering a single apology for the issue with their email system.

I've been a client of BOC for over two years and have had only positive experiences with their customer service at the Bedok branch. Most recently, Ms. Alena assisted me in updating my particulars, completing the process in just 5 minutes with no waiting time—very efficient! Additionally, I find the BOC mobile app to be much more stable and reliable compared to the UOB and DBS apps, making my banking experience hassle-free.

We received excellent customer service from Lim Hooi Jin, who helped us set up our mobile banking applications and provided very clear advice on each step, as well as how to transfer existing funds. I really appreciated her patience in answering all our questions and marvelled at her multi-tasking, focus, and deep knowledge. She truly went the extra mile to help us with our questions and needs and ensured everything was in place before we left. Thank you, Hooi Jin!
Also, this is my second BOC experience. The first one was also very good. I liked how the staff didn't turn snobby when my mum mistakenly thought she was a priority customer and had to take the original (longer) queue number. Overall, the service and staff were very good.
