I had a very bad injury on the right lower waist bum sprain vein. It was connected all the way to my leg, and this caused my first and second toes and part of my leg to become numb. I couldn’t walk for 2 weeks.
I went to see TCM Doctor Lin Zhiqiang. He treated me professionally, based on my “Xu” body type, advising me on what food I should eat, and showed me some exercises to relieve my injury.
He did not give me acupuncture or any other treatment. He advised me to get an X-ray. I paid $94.60 for my consultation and 5 days of medication.
On November 4th, I went back for a follow-up treatment because the numbness in my toes and leg persisted and was still hurting. The doctor was again very professional, answering questions about my body condition and demonstrating exercises to help me train my waist and stretch the injured area. He gave me 7 days of medication. When I went to pay for my bill, I was expecting it to be around $100+.
To my horrifying shock, my consultation and 7 days of medication cost $222.30, with no tui na or acupuncture again this round.
Luckily, the medication he gave me worked well for my body, and I did not have any allergic reaction.
