I was served by cashier Jesse Ting, who was very rude, unfriendly, and gave such a very black face while serving all the customers making payments. I didn’t know that a self-checkout counter was there, so I walked to the other side where no sign was posted. But Jesse said, "Madam, please queue there! That is not my counter; this is my counter!" Do all your payment customers know which counter is which? If she cannot serve customers with a smile and give polite vibes, cashier and front counter are not proper positions for her! As I am a front counter person myself at McDonald's in Changi Airport, even when I am tired and busy, I still try my best to give good service to my customers who want to make payments. I hope Popular Bookstores will also take note of service, as we all buyers want to have nice and happy feelings as customers after buying things from your store. Thank you.

We wanted to know some details about a tech product we were buying, which is a big-ticket item. While his colleague attempted to help us despite some limitations, Albert was very arrogant and rude to us. Albert claims to be a "manager," and if this is indeed a fact, service is doomed!

During my recent visit to the popular bookstore in Bedok Mall, I encountered unhelpful and inexperienced staff, most of whom appeared to be quite young. When I asked for assistance in locating a specific printer model, the staff seemed clueless and disorganized. Their lack of professionalism and product knowledge made it challenging for me to make a purchase decision. Despite our seeking help, the staff appeared indifferent and passed on responsibilities to others who were equally unhelpful. Ultimately, I decided against buying the printer from the store due to the poor service. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to improve the overall customer experience.

The customer service here is excellent! I accidentally bought the wrong book—my wife wanted a specific one, but I picked up the wrong title. When I returned to the store to see if I could exchange or refund it, the staff were incredibly helpful and immediately assisted me. I truly appreciate their kindness and efficiency. I had a great experience with the customer service at POPULAR Bookstore in Bedok Mall! The staff were friendly, approachable, and very helpful in helping me find the books and stationery I needed. Despite the store being busy, they took the time to guide me and even gave recommendations based on what I was looking for.
When I was searching for a specific assessment book, a staff member noticed me looking around and approached me with a smile, asking if I needed help. After I told them the title, they immediately checked their system and walked me to the right section. They even pointed out the latest edition and explained the differences between the latest and previous versions, ensuring I got the most updated one for my needs.
I also needed some art materials, and another staff member was equally helpful. They explained the quality differences between different brands of colored pencils, showing me which ones were better for shading and which were more suitable for beginners. Their knowledge really helped me make the right choice.
I really appreciate their patience and professionalism, especially when helping customers locate specific school materials. It’s not always easy to get good service in a crowded store, but the staff here did a fantastic job. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be coming back.
