Trainer

Job Description

• Perform beauty and wellness treatments including facials, massages, waxing, body scrubs, manicures/pedicures, and more.
• Conduct consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, tools, and spa equipment.
• Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and spa revenue.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through personalized service.
• Ensure compliance with all spa policies, procedures, and local health regulations.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on new techniques and products.
• Report any issues with equipment or supplies to the spa manager.

Training Responsibilities

The beauty spa trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and updating training programs to ensure staff are skilled, knowledgeable, and aligned with service standards.

• Basic anatomy and physiology for spa services.
• Soft skills: communication, client handling, and professional ethics.
• Monthly refresher training sessions.
• Introduction of new treatments and equipment.
• Workshops with product specialists and brand partners.

Qualifications and Experience

- Relevant beauty or complementary therapy qualifications would be highly advantageous for the role. (E.g. ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, NITEC, etc.)
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience years in a similar role. Candidates who has relevant experience in Customer Service, Retail Operations or Beauty / Spa industries preferred.
